Our coffee grows on the Typica tree, which is located in the Sierra Nevada. Typica coffee trees are in the forest, where one has to walk around 7-8 hours to access them. This place was announced as UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site.
Sierra Nevada is one of the most unique areas in Colombia. It is a mountain that is far from the level of the sea at 5.800 meters, 42 kilometers from the shore. This mountain’s proximity to the sea creates a relative humidity area, which makes for an extraordinary microclimate. This place gives coffee more intensity. Sierra Nevada Coffee which grows in the local forests has a taste of hazelnuts and dark chocolate.
